Discover DZVOLT UI

Monitor and control your Modbus RTU devices through a live web interface — no programming required.

What is DZVOLT UI? §

DZVOLT UI is an industrial controller interface for managing IoT modules connected via Modbus RTU serial communication. It runs as a local web server, accessible from any browser on your network, giving operators and administrators a live view into digital and analog I/O on every connected device.

The application handles serial port communication, real-time data streaming, role-based access control, and a complete audit trail — so you can monitor, configure, and troubleshoot hardware without writing a line of code.

Key Features §

Real-Time Monitoring

Live I/O values update the moment hardware changes. Watch DI pulse counts, AI voltage readings, and DO states refresh in real time.

🔌

Multi-Workspace

Organize devices by serial port. Each workspace runs its own Modbus RTU polling loop across all connected modules.

🛡️

Role-Based Access

Administrators configure everything locally. Operators get browser access to read values and toggle outputs — nothing more.

📋

Full Audit Trail

Every write operation is logged with the operator name, old value, new value, timestamp, and IP address.

Quick Start §

Get from a fresh install to live I/O data in five steps.

  1. Set your master password

On first launch, the lock screen asks you to create a master password. This is the administrator credential — keep it safe. It cannot be reset without a recovery key.

  2. Create a workspace

Click Add Workspace in the sidebar (or press N). Give it a name and select the serial port your RS485 adapter is on. Baud rate is fixed at 9600 8N1.

  3. Add a module

With the workspace selected, click Add Module in the toolbar (or press A). DZVOLT UI scans the bus and lists all responding iCTRL-20 modules by Slave ID. Select the ones you want, give each a name, and click Add Selected.

  4. Connect

Click the Connect button on the module card. The serial port opens and polling begins. Section cells start showing live values within seconds.

  5. Explore I/O

Click any section cell (DI, DO, AI, AO) to open the detail panel. Read values, write outputs, rename signals, and view history — all in one place.

What You'll Need §

  • A machine running DZVOLT UI (Windows, macOS, or Linux)
  • A USB-to-RS485 adapter or built-in RS485 serial port
  • One or more DZVOLT iCTRL-20 modules with DIP switches configured
  • A modern browser on any device on the same network (for operator access)
Desktop App

DZVOLT UI is also available as a standalone desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The interface is identical — launch the app and it's ready, no additional setup required.
