Module Sections
Reference for all six section types and their detail panels.
Section Overview §
Each module exposes its I/O through typed sections. Click any section cell on a module card to open its detail panel.
DI — Digital Input §
Reads on/off signals from switches, sensors, or dry contacts.
Panel features: live state (ON/OFF), pulse count display, rename signals, and a configuration block with:
- Mode — Normal, Inverted, or Counter (pulse counting)
- Link to DO — interlock this DI to a digital output so the DO follows the DI state
- Timer Configuration — when a DO is linked, choose a timer type (TON, TOF, TP, or TONOFF) and set its delay in seconds
DO — Digital Output §
Relay or transistor outputs you can toggle on or off.
Panel features: toggle button, rename signals, and a timer block with four modes:
- TON — output turns on after a delay (seconds)
- TOF — output turns off after a delay (seconds)
- TP — output pulses for a fixed duration (seconds)
- TONOFF — output cycles on and off continuously with configurable on/off durations
AI — Analog Input §
Voltage (0–10 V) or current (4–20 mA) readings from analog sensors.
Panel features: live value, rename signals and units (V, mA, °C), and alarm configuration:
- MAX / MIN Threshold — alarm trips when the value crosses the threshold. Range ±327.67, entered with up to 2 decimal places.
- Alarm → DO — optionally link the alarm to a digital output with timer support
- Scale Configuration — set the engineering-unit range for the raw 0–10 V or 4–20 mA signal
AO — Analog Output §
0–10 V drive signals you can set to a specific value.
Panel features: value slider or input, live readback, edit units.
PWR — Power Supply §
Reports supply voltage and alarm state.
Panel features: live voltage, alarm threshold, AO lockout when power fails.
DEV — Device Info §
Read-only device information.
Panel features: confirmed slave ID, serial number, device status register.
