Settings & Preferences
Configure theme, network port, and security from the Preferences panel.
Opening Preferences §
Click the gear icon in the top toolbar to open Preferences. Only administrators can change settings. The panel has six sections: Appearance, Network, Operators, Security, Shortcuts, and About.
Appearance §
Toggle between Light and Dark theme. The selection is saved in the browser and applies immediately. You can also switch themes at any time with T.
Network §
Set the Exposed Port — the TCP port remote browsers use to reach the app (http://<device-ip>:PORT). The default is 3000. After saving, restart the server to apply the new port.
If the configured port is already in use, DZVOLT UI starts on a different port and shows a conflict warning. Choose a free port to resolve it.
Security §
Change the master password (the lock-screen credential) from the Security panel. Enter your current password, then the new password twice to confirm.
If you forget the master password, the only recovery path is the recovery key generated on first launch. Store it safely.
