User Management
Create operator accounts, change passwords, and manage access.
Roles Recap §
DZVOLT UI has two roles:
- Administrator — full access, local machine only
- Operator — read I/O, toggle outputs, remote access
Master Password §
The master password is created on first launch. It is the administrator credential.
Only the master password can:
- Unlock the app from the lock screen
- Create/delete operator accounts
- Change other users' passwords
If you forget the master password, you must use the recovery key generated on first setup. Without it, the only option is to wipe the database.
Creating Operators §

Unlock the app
Enter the master password at the lock screen (local machine only).

Open User Management
Click the gear icon → "User Management", or press
U. -
Click "New Operator"
Enter a username (3–32 characters) and a password (8+ characters).

Share credentials
Give the operator the username and password. They can now log in from any browser on the network.
Changing Passwords §
Administrators can change any operator's password from the User Management panel. Operators can change their own password from the lock screen by clicking "Change Password".
Deleting Operators §
Delete an operator from the User Management panel. The operator is immediately logged out from all sessions.
Operator List §
The Operators panel lists all accounts with their username and the date they were created. From here administrators can edit or delete any operator account.
